Job Summary
- Seeking a Systems Engineer to support a Data Modeling team that is focused on modernizing business IT systems that currently span multiple databases, user interfaces, and data formats
 - This role is key to the successful migration of business data from legacy systems to a new platform
 
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop system architectures, specifications, and technical requirements to meet business and project objectives
 - Support the integration of hardware, software, networks, and security systems into cohesive solutions
 - Oversee system development, testing, deployment, and maintenance activities
 - Perform trade studies, risk assessments, and system performance evaluations
 - Develop and maintain system documentation, interface control documents, and configuration management records
 - Work closely with software, hardware, and network engineering teams to ensure successful system delivery
 - Ensure systems adhere to relevant standards, regulations, and cybersecurity best practices
 
Required Qualifications
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
 - 7 years' experience with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or related field) or 12 years' experience without the degree
 - Experience with database design and modeling
 - Experience utilizing SQL within relational database systems (e.g., Oracle, Postgres)
 - Experience reverse engineering systems in both front-end and back-end capacities
 - Experience with data analysis and visualization, data normalization and cleansing, and data security
 
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of existing BM&A systems
 
Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
