Job Summary & Responsibilities

As the MDS Manager/Quality Assessment Manager with Southern Healthcare Management you will provide expert oversight and guidance and timely assessments in alignment with federal and state regulations. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, serves as a resource, educates center staff, audits assessment processes, and drives the best practices to ensure regulatory compliance. 


Travel between multiple locations is an essential function of this role.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a RN (Registered Nurse)
  • Minimum of 3 years in Long Term Care
  • Experience with a multi-facility organization
  • Expert knowledge of MDS 3.0, RAI guidelines, ICD 10 coding, and federal reimbursement systems
  • Strong auditing, analytical, and communication skills
  • Strong leadership and organization skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
