You support system activities in a specific process area, including analysis, design, and overseeing the implementation of system changes to increase effectiveness and efficiency aligned with corporate strategies.

Working in a cross-functional environment, you will collaborate closely with global and regional teams to optimize SAP and integrated non-SAP systems and processes, translating business needs into functional requirements. You will define what the capability must achieve and how success will be measured and ensure that solutions are robust, strategically aligned and efficient to deliver and maintain. To succeed in this role, you must understand integration points in an integrated ERP system (i.e. SAP ECC), standalone, SAAS, and control systems and effectively interact with senior management from business and technology disciplines to keep them informed and to present highly complex solutions.

The MDS DX LA Regional tech lead at Mondelēz will manage the demand and bring technology fluency to the local markets within Latin-America
The role will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of high-quality software solutions, while also providing technical leadership and mentorship to the development and engineering team. The primary focus will be on delivering outcome-based solutions that drive business success and exceed our clients' expectations.
Crucial role working on all the layers of Digital Experiences applications and products, including the user interface, application logic, data storage, and infrastructure. The role will also work on ensuring that the products is scalable, secure, and maintainable in an ever-changing technology landscape.
Active and close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Latin America business units, Global Sales teams, product managers, business stakeholders, delivery teams, IT professionals and strategic vendors, to improve efficiency, solutions synergies, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Activities:

  • Responsible for end-to-end design of new sales products - Concepts, Architecture, Design & Delivery, Roll-out and Customer Success.
  • Architecture decisions to support a high-performance and scalable product with a minimal footprint for sales and commercial solutions.
  • Collaborate well with Engineers, Architects, Managers to design and create advanced, elegant, and efficient systems.
  • Design scalable, robust, and cost-effective solutions in a cloud environment.
  • Take complete ownership of the Non-Functional Requirements and in driving the technology roadmap.
  • Own, shape and define data models and consumption models to share data assets within the solutions landscape.
  • Work with technical leaders in other groups like Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, DevSecOps, Sales, eCommerce, etc. in understanding the pain points and work with the engineering leaders to address them Identify applications for new technologies and lead implementation.
  • Help define and maintain for Latin America principles, guidelines, reference architectures, standards, road maps, and patterns especially as they pertain to custom application development.
  • Support the establishment and embracement of a common set of architecture and design principles for Latin America that the various engineering groups should adhere to.
  • Actively research industry wide frameworks and integrate them into the platform needs.
  • Have a research mind-set to investigate complex technical challenges and help us grow intellectual property assets.
  • Motivate the larger team by being abreast with latest technological trends and demonstrating superior leadership skills.
  • Steer various technical initiatives by working with counterparts in other engineering groups considering operational requirements.
  • Analyze performance, customer feedback, and market dynamics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous product enhancement.


Profile (Background & Experience):

  • 10+ years of IT experience in a large global corporation.
  • Experience and understanding of FMCG industry and Customer/Commercial/Sales functions a plus.
  • 4+ years of extensive full-stack experience (MEAN or similar) and application design patterns
  • 3+ years of hands on experience with Angular, Vue.js, or React
  • 3+ years experience using node.js or C# (.Net MVC)
  • 3+ years experience designing and building RESTful services.
  • 3+ years experience with native application development (ObjectiveC, Swift and Android) as well as experience with hybrid development (React or Flutter).
  • Strong experience developing web applications and understanding of new web technologies
  • Experience building highly-available applications
  • Experience building/hosting production applications on any major cloud provider
  • Working knowledge of web service infrastructure such as DNS, load balancers, reverse proxies, CDNs, application Servers, and databases
  • Experience writing SQL queries
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts
  • Experience using AUTH technologies such as OAuth2, LDAP/SAML a plus
  • Strong experience with Git
  • Experience setting up CI/CD for new applications and development workflows
  • Experience writing unit and functional tests
  • Proficiency in software development life-cycle management, particularly Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong ability to bring technology roadmaps to life for the regions.
  • Exceptional thought leadership in IT trend and strategy, combining delegation and hands-on participation in a matrixed environment with delivery teams.
  • Excellent in managing and negotiating with multiple IT vendors to achieve Win-Win partnerships.
  • Ability to lead under ambiguity and adapt to rapidly changing circumstances.
  • Track record of successful large & complex project management experiences for technology solutions deliveries using agile methods and advanced in program/project management.


Job specific requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field.
  • Master's degree in business or IT administration a plus.
  • PMI certification a plus
  • English fluency (Brazilian Portuguese a plus)
