Position SummaryThe Technical MDM (Master Data Management) Architect Consultant will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing MDM solutions for our clients. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, business stakeholders, and IT professionals, to ensure the seamless integration and management of master data across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of MDM concepts, architecture, and best practices, coupled with hands-on experience in implementing MDM solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and Architecture: Develop comprehensive MDM strategies and architectures that align with clients' business objectives and technical requirements.
· Implementation: Lead the end-to-end implementation of MDM solutions, including data modeling, data integration, data quality, and data governance – including the direction and hands-on contribution to system configuration
· Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into effective MDM solutions.
· Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of MDM projects – including hands-on configuration and review/oversight of team member work.
· Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize MDM solutions to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
· Training and Support: Provide training and support to clients and internal teams on MDM best practices and tools.
· Documentation: Create detailed documentation, including architectural diagrams, data models, and implementation plans, to support MDM initiatives.Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in a consulting role as a technical specialist, architect, or developer
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MDM architecture, design, and implementation
- Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in MDM tools and platforms such as Informatica MDM, Profisee, Reltio
- Data Management Skills: In-depth knowledge of data modeling, data integration, data quality, and data governance principles
- Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages such as SQL and JavaScript
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop effective solutions
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Project Management: Experience managing and delivering complex MDM projects on time and within budget
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in MDM or data management are a plus.
- End-to-end project implementation experience in one or more of the following areas: Cloud ERP, EPM, or CRM offerings
- Experience in solution design and architecture, complex application integrations, and data conversion
- The ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron technical staff
- The ability to contribute on multiple projects of differing scale and duration
- Huron requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Experience in industries such as healthcare, finance, retail, or manufacturing
- Data Integration Experience: Familiarity with enterprise ETL or cloud based iPaaS solutions – both batch and event driven use cases
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile development environments
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members
