What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:

Lead and support DeltaV system configuration, troubleshooting, and optimisation.
Develop and maintain Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) and Functional Specifications (FS) for DeltaV and MCS components.
Integrate DeltaV with peripheral systems (e.g. Siemens PLCs via Modbus).
Support qualification activities including SAT, IQ/OQ, and GMP change management.
Collaborate with process specialists to design and implement new recipes and automation logic.
Provide frontline support during system failures and modifications.
Participate in FATs and commissioning activities.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

High school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of experience or associate's degree with 6+ years of experience or BA/BS with 2+ years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experience
Proven experience in Automation Engineering
Proficiency in drafting software test plans, user requirements, and system design documents
Minimum 5 years of experience in automation engineering, with at least 3 years in DeltaV systems.
Proven experience in pharmaceutical automation projects (e.g. Janssen, Pfizer, Eli Lilly).
Strong understanding of ISA-88 batch automation
Hands-on experience with recipe creation, equipment module development, and network architecture documentation.
Familiarity with redundant server environments, and data historian applications (e.g. OSIsoft PI).
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Hands-on experience with Automation Compliance projects
Familiarity with process controls equipment
Robust understanding of Computerized Systems, Compliance regulations, and standards
Strong teamwork spirit

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

Relevant pharmaceutical experience
Understanding of programming and proficiency in at least one language
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Ability to train others effectively
Strong problem-solving skills
