PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages daily oversight of all assigned projects
- Active participation in new Project Pre-construction
- Monitor job progress, Subcontractor performance & Project costs
- Review Assistant Project Manager (Asst. PM) RFIs and Submittals
- Working knowledge of project bids and issue contracts
- Negotiate with Subcontractors & Suppliers
- Prepare monthly billings and financial reports
- Prepare/Conduct all Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) Meetings (Weekly)
- Manage Owner & Architect expectations
- Review Project Schedule and Subcontractor Pay Applications with assigned Superintendent and support Contract Completion Dates
- Oversee timely project close out
- Attend Owner-sponsored events
- Train Asst. PM and Project Coordinator, if assigned
- Knowledge of Owner and Subcontractor contracts
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPECTATIONS:
- Meet all assigned deadlines
- Maintain Project Budget(s) and deliver projected profit(s)
- Maintain all administrative responsibilities (internal & external deliverables)
- Visit Jobsite twice per week
- Learn and Grow under the leadership of management
- Team Player – support all efforts towards on-time Project completion
- Annually complete 20 hrs of Continued Education
- Communicate – Openly, Honestly, and Frequently, with Pogue Superintendent
- Update Senior Project Manager on all Project(s) milestone(s) and potential drawbacks
- Mentor junior staff
- Internal and external customer service
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s in Construction Science or commensurate experience
Skills Required
- Bachelor's in Construction Science or commensurate experience
- Knowledge of Owner and Subcontractor contracts
- Working knowledge of project bids and issuing contracts
- Experience reviewing RFIs and submittals
- Ability to prepare monthly billings and financial reports
- Ability to monitor project costs, schedules, and subcontractor performance
- Ability to conduct weekly Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) meetings
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers
- Visit jobsite twice per week
- Maintain project budgets and deliver projected profits
- Mentor and train assistant project managers and project coordinators
- Complete 20 hours of continued education annually
- Strong communication and customer service skills (internal and external)
