Stellantis is developing a state-of-the-art software platform that will be deployed on all future Stellantis vehicles. The SWE organization is seeking a technical specialist to join our software methods & tools team to lead methods and tools for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) in a global vehicle software organization. This role would be responsible for delivering MBSE methods and tool support for the efficient development of quality vehicle systems and software. This position is the US. It will entail working in a very global environment, interacting with people in India, Europe, Brazil, Asia, etc.
The responsibilities of the MBSE Methods & Tools Specialist include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Configure, administer, and support IBM Rhapsody, IBM Architecture Management, and related Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) tools to meet the needs of software engineering teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define, implement, and continuously improve engineering methods, modeling practices, and tool capabilities.
- Design, develop, and support tool integrations, automations, and custom solutions that improve engineering efficiency, traceability, and data consistency.
- Support engineers in the adoption and effective use of MBSE, SysML, UML, and simulation capabilities within IBM Rhapsody.
- Troubleshoot and resolve tool, integration, and process-related issues in partnership with internal teams and vendors.
- Provide training, guidance, and technical support to global engineering teams.
- Work collaboratively within an Agile team environment to deliver enhancements, projects, and operational support activities.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry best practices, and advancements in MBSE, systems engineering, and engineering toolchains.

- A minimum of 8 years' experience
- Basic knowledge of IBM Rhapsody, IBM Architecture Management, IBM DOORs Next Gen
- Experience supporting, configuring, administering, and integrating enterprise engineering tools
- Experience developing scripts, automations, or integrations using Java, Python, or similar programming languages
- Experience working with REST APIs, data integrations, or system-to-system interfaces
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter who can work cross-functionally with other people
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in engineering
- Experience supporting engineering, automotive, aerospace, defense, or other regulated product development environments where systems engineering is critical.
- Experience with other tools of the IBM ELM Tool Suite (RTC, RQM, JRS, GCM).
- Experience with MBSE, SysML, UML, or systems modeling tools.
- Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Background in software development, systems engineering, or software tool support.
- Experience with Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC).
