Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & Security-Focused DevelopmentECU Architecture: Define robust software architectures for vehicle ECUs with a strong focus on cybersecurity and functional safety (ISO 26262/ASIL).
Agile Development: Lead architectural sprints within an Agile framework, ensuring incremental delivery of high-quality, security-compliant software features.
MBD Strategy: Enforce MAAB Guidelines and ensure model compliance for efficient Code Generation (Embedded Coder) and seamless integration into the target hardware.
Environment Creation: Architect and deploy evaluation environments for ADAS features using Model-in-the-Loop (MILS) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HILS) simulations.
Scenario Design: Design complex test scenarios based on functional specifications using CarMaker or CarSim, replicating real-world driving conditions.
Data-Driven Validation: Develop test cases for MILS/HILS derived from real driving data, ensuring the virtual environment accurately reflects physical road behavior.
Test Automation: Automate the execution of test scenarios and regression suites to accelerate the validation loop (utilizing Python/MATLAB scripts).
Logic Verification: Verify control logic robustness through rigorous MILS/HILS testing before physical vehicle integration.
Toolchain Management: Manage the integration of verification tools (dSPACE ControlDesk, Vector CANoe) into the architectural workflow.
You must have experience architecting or developing at least one of the following features:
Automatic Parking (APA/RPA)
Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS)
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
Lane Departure Control / Prevention System (LDW/LKA/LDP)
MBD Core: Expert in MATLAB and Simulink.
Code Generation: Strong proficiency in Embedded Coder for production code generation.
Simulation Tools: Hands-on experience with CarMaker or CarSim for vehicle dynamics simulation.
Validation Tools: Proficiency with dSPACE ControlDesk and Vector CANoe / CAPL scripting.
Automation: High proficiency in Python for scripting, data analysis, and test automation.
MILS/HILS Verification: proven track record in setting up and executing virtual verification (MILS) and hardware-in-the-loop (HILS) tests.
Standards: Deep knowledge of MAAB Guidelines, ISO 26262, and ASIL (Automotive Safety Integrity Level) classification.
