Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with testing needs in Maybell MayQ labs.
- Provide leadership and partnership to customers in the conception, design, development and refinement of superconducting quantum systems.
- Understand customer needs and translate it into product development for Maybell.
- Demonstrate cutting edge quantum hardware systems in our MayQ labs, including cryogenic systems, qubit control, and metrology.
- Assist customers with the implementation and debugging of their experimental setups.
- Partner with engineers to translate innovations into functional prototypes and production-ready products.
- Characterize Maybell and partner organization products.
- Model, develop, and test new cryogenic, RF, and control hardware.
Qualifications
- PhD in applied physics, or equivalent experience.
- 5-7+ years working experience with quantum devices and dilution refrigerators.
- Expertise in quantum measurement and control.
- Experience with python.
- Self-starter with ability to drive results independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
