What You’ll Do:
Valkyrie is searching for students who are passionate about the financial markets and looking to learn more about options market-making. During the one-week Boot Camp, you will go through Mock trading sessions and trading games to help build an understanding of what a day in the life of a trader is like at Valkyrie. You will learn how to successfully manage and execute a trading strategy through education courses and trading sessions. We aim to train our future junior traders to become desk leads quickly. The Boot Camp will provide a first-hand look into Valkyrie and our approach to trading.
What You’ll Need:
- Expected graduation date between December 2025 and December 2026
- Willingness to work in-person, in Chicago on May 19-23, 2025
- Degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science or equivalent
- Passion for the financial markets
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Entrepreneurial attitude with keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to make split-second logical decisions in a high-pressure environment
- Competitive drive and the maturity to handle considerable responsibility
- Capability to quickly recover from mistakes
- Quantitative Analysis skills are a plus
- Programming experience preferred
