Your next career opportunity 
You will coordinate AMSI’s residential maths camps, delivering inspiring experiences for high‑ability Year 9–10 students statewide.

You will work closely with schools, academics and partners to broaden students’ aspirations for VCE maths and STEM.

What you will deliver: 

  • Coordinate statewide schedules, logistics and onsite delivery for 24 residential maths camps with MAV and The Y.

  • Administer registrations and participant data, ensuring privacy, parental consent, child safety compliance and clear communications to families.

  • Recruit, brief and support academics, teachers and STEM presenters to deliver engaging camp sessions and activities.

  • Lead evaluation activities, surveys and reporting, using findings to improve inclusion, quality, logistics and participant experience.

  • Contribute to wider AMSI events and governance, collaborating with marketing, multimedia, finance and project leadership.

You may be a great fit if you: 

  • Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in project or event coordination, mathematics, mathematics education or related discipline.

  • Demonstrate substantial experience coordinating complex events or residential programs, including planning, promotion, logistics and onsite delivery.

  • Manage diverse stakeholders confidently, building effective relationships with schools, academics, partners and service providers.

  • Apply robust knowledge of privacy, child safety and duty of care to programs involving minors.

  • Communicate clearly in writing and in person, responding promptly to participant and parent or carer enquiries.

  • Work autonomously within frameworks, juggling competing deadlines while providing accurate reporting and documentation for leadership and funders.
