Job Purpose
The Materials Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating activities related to the receipt, shipment, storage and control of materials and supplies ensuring efficient and accurate supply to meet operational needs. Operational responsibilities include worker safety, quality controls through GMP, safe storage and handling of materials and inventory accuracy for non-MRO items materials in the facility. The incumbent is expected to lead and direct dock and office associates supporting inventory management for the plant.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement projects relating to inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Lead implementation and training of plant inventory control policies and procedures.
- Participate in internal/external plant audits and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions to address identified gaps.
- Drive operational efficiencies by ensuring inventory accuracy and material availability.
- Manage maintenance plan for all plant PIT and other equipment used by dock personnel.
- Collaborate with finance to ensure BOM accuracy and alignment with R&D approved recipes.
- Coordinate with 3PL's to ensure support for plant operations.
- Lead month-end close process for plant that is aligned with and supporting KHC financial month end close processes.
- Lead the implementation of the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) system to achieve KHC quality standards in handling and storage of all plant materials.
- Monitor operations to ensure compliance to Safety, GMP and plant storage and handling standards established for the facility.
- Partner with business leaders to ensure compliance with KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) expectations for MSC pillar and support other pillar requirements as needed.
- Promote a performance-based culture that encourages continuous improvement and leverage Environmental, Health and Safety excellence.
- Other duties as assigned.
Expected Experience & Required Skills
- Bachelor degree in Business Management or a Management related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in warehouse, manufacturing and/or inventory control function
- Knowledge of GMP and safe work practices
- MRP experience preferred
- SAP experience is preferred
- Knowledge in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- LSS experience desired
- Detail oriented with good organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to delegate and follow through
- Excellent time and management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills
Work Environment & Schedule
This position is considered a Manufacturing plant environment with heavy machinery and equipment Additionally, this role requires full-time onsite work schedule.

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$77,800.00 - $97,300.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
