Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First Line Materials Management and Transportation Manager (Level K) to join our team based in Auburn, Washington on 2nd Shift. Selected candidate must be available to work: (2nd Shift hours vary upon need)
The selected leader will support shop floor Expeditors and MMS employees working within the Emergent Operations (EO) business unit. Emergent Operations (EO) is a high skilled and engaged team that provides exceptional emergent services, innovative solutions and aerospace products. It is a fast-paced manufacturing environment that protects the Enterprise by supporting our customers with quality, speed, and efficiency.
Position Responsibilities:
• Manages and integrates employees' activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation.
• Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Leads, develops and motivates employees.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• 3+ years of experience working in Supply Chain, Fulfillment or Manufacturing
• 3+ years of experience in leading teams and/or managing projects
• 3+ years of experience in a role requiring strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
• Must be able to work variable shifts; including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
Preferred Qualification (Desired Skills/ Experience):
• 1+ years of experience with the Boeing Production System (BPS)
• 1+ years of experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system or System Application and Product (SAP) system
• 1+ years of experience in expediting product through a production system to meet emergent customer demand
• 1+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range:
(Level K) $121,000 - $142,000
