Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior S&S (Skin and Spar) Level L to join our Fulfillment team in Auburn & Puyallup, Washington.
This position is expected to be 100% on-site. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site split between Auburn & Puyallup, WA.
The Senior Fulfillment Leader will be part of the S&S Leadership team and will be responsible for leading and managing the fulfillment organization which includes all supply chain and parts aspects of the business by supporting both enterprise level initiatives and implementing high visibility supply chain focused projects, develops and executes integrated organizational plans and solutions to enable business objectives.
The successful candidate is someone who can join and lead teams, understand the strategic aspects of the organization and associated initiatives, work in a complex organization, and can demonstrate their knowledge of the company and multiple functional subject areas to meet supply chain management goals and our internal and external customers' expectations. Candidates must be able to translate strategic goals into tactical actions that are understandable to the team.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manages and integrates employee and first-level manager activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation
  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
  • Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers
  • Ensure daily execution of statements of work, measuring team performance against KPIs (People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost)
  • Understand, commit, communicate and execute the production system plan
  • Manage employees analyzing supply chain material requirements, developing and optimizing inventory planning and synchronizing supply chain demands
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Operation functions (Manufacturing, Materials Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or Supply Chain Operations)
  • 5+ years of experience managing or leading people or teams, preferably leading both salary and hourly personnel
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
  • 5+ years of experience in a role requiring strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace/operations manufacturing management
  • 5+ years of experience with warehousing and logistics
  • 5+ years of experience in a role that involves strategic planning and risk identification
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing process improvement projects
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field

Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $142,800 - $193,200
