JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is a SPRING/SUMMER Internship Opportunity.
STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervised and trained by Centerstone staff (this internship works with community members of all ages and their families)
- Conduct therapy with individuals and their families who are receiving mental & behavioral health services
- Take client data
- Observe and participate in therapy services
- Conduct individual and family therapy during time of internship
- Participate in program duties to ensure program runs smoothly
WORK SCHEDULE
- 20 to 40 hours per week. Clinic hours are 8am - 5pm Monday thru Friday. Internship hours are flexible.
- Internship within clinic setting in Clarksville, TN
QUALIFICATIONS
- Working toward a master’s degree in public health, social sciences, or related field
- Interest in gaining experience working with adults, children and their families
- Demonstrated history of being able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work with data; detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to commit to 20-40 hours a week
