Title and Summary
Mastercard Digital Labs Innovation Product Manager
Over view
We are Mastercard's Innovation Services team. We bring together strategists, designers, technologists, and product leaders who help the world's biggest banks, fintechs, merchants, and ecosystem partners turn emerging opportunities into real businesses, products, and customer experiences.
We work at the intersection of strategy, design, technology, and product to help clients answer their hardest questions: What's next? What should we build? How do we win?
From AI and agentic commerce to embedded finance, open banking, digital identity, and the future of payments, our work shapes how money moves and how customers experience financial services around the world.
This is the team if you want to work on innovation projects that go from concept to commercialization.
The Role
We are looking for an Innovation Product Manager to lead client engagements that span strategy, product, technology, and commercialization.
In this role, you will work directly with senior executives at major financial institutions, fintechs, and merchants to identify opportunities, shape new products, validate concepts, and help bring them to market. You will lead workshops, build strategic recommendations, guide multidisciplinary delivery teams, and partner with Mastercard's account leaders to grow client relationships.
This is not a pure facilitator role. It is not a pure consultant role. It is not a pure product role. It is all three.
You will move comfortably between running an executive innovation session, building a business case for a new digital product, presenting a roadmap to a C-suite audience, and helping a team move a concept from prototype to pilot to launch.
You will be one of the faces of Digital Labs externally, serving as a trusted advisor to clients and a visible representative of Mastercard's innovation capabilities in North America.
You'll Love This Role If...
- You are energized by helping organizations navigate disruption, emerging technologies, and shifting customer expectations.
- You want to work with iconic brands on problems that matter, and see your work go from whiteboard to real customers.
- You are equally comfortable leading a workshop, writing a strategy deck, building a product roadmap, and presenting to senior executives.
- You thrive in ambiguity and enjoy turning messy problems into clear, actionable plans.
- You believe great innovation is part vision, part rigor, and part execution, and you want to do all three.
- You want to be part of a high-caliber team that gets to play across AI, payments, banking, commerce, and emerging technology.

- Lead innovation engagements with Mastercard customers, helping define growth strategies, innovation priorities, and digital transformation roadmaps.

Drive Product Innovation and Commercialization:
- Lead engagements focused on new product development, experience design, service innovation, and concept creation.

- Support clients in moving from concept to commercialization, including pilot design, scaling plans, and production-ready roadmaps.
- Identify opportunities to activate Mastercard's products, platforms, partnerships, and capabilities within client initiatives.
Design and Facilitate High-Impact Sessions:
