Project Overview
Are you interested in working at the intersection of bioanalysis and drug development? This thesis project addresses a highly relevant challenge: how therapeutic antibodies may interfere with biomarker measurements in plasma using Olink assays. You will have the opportunity to combine work with Olink’s Proximity Extension Assay (PEA) technology and advanced biophysical methods to explore mechanisms in a real research setting.
Objectives
Screening: Test a selection of known therapeutic antibodies in plasma (spike-in) and analyze interference using mid-plex PEA readouts.
Deep Dive: Perform titrations for selected antibodies and investigate detailed effects.
Mechanistic Studies: For selected cases, verify interactions using SPR (Surface Plasmon Resonance) technology.
Optional (time permitting): Explore and compare with plasma samples endogenously treated with therapeutic antibodies based on assay signatures.
