Job Description- During your assignment, you will implement, integrate and evaluate cutting-edge algorithms along the complete stack of an Automated Driving System with focus on perception or function and planning modules.
- Technological focus will be on Machine Learning (End2End systems, Foundation Models, such as VLM and VLA).
- Your algorithms will run in real time on a prototype test vehicle.
- In addition, you will realize a system-driven evaluation in a system-in-the-loop simulation and on defined reference tracks.
- Last but not least, you will work in an agile and diverse research team.
- Education: Master studies in the field of Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering or comparable with excellent grades
- Experience and Knowledge: excellent programming skills (Python, C++); knowledge of ROS and Machine Learning libs is a strong plus
- Personality and Working Practice: you are a highly motivated, flexible team player
- Languages: fluent in English and ideally good in German
Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 3 - 6 months
Optionally, we can support an internship preceding the offered thesis. This option would allow you to gather a still broader understanding in the field of automated driving.
Requirement for this thesis is the enrollment at university. Please attach your CV, transcript of records, examination regulations and if indicated a valid work and residence permit.
