Job Description

Your Key Responsibilities / Key areas of interest - Available Topics:

• Estimand Framework
  • Impact of different intercurrent event handling strategies on primary endpoint
  • Conduct literature review and selection of meaningful handling strategies
  • Perform simulations to evaluate the impact of different handling strategies
• Bayesian Dynamic Borrowing of Historical data
  • Explore different Bayesian strategies to incorporate historical data into clinical trials based on clinical expertise and data similarity
  • Conduct literature review and identify appropriate approaches
  • Perform simulations to evaluate the risk and benefits of different design strategies
• Statistical properties of advanced and adaptive randomization methods 
  • Impact on balance of prognostic subgroups, efficiency of primary endpoint estimation and on predictability of treatment allocation
  • Conduct literature review of suitable randomization methods
  • Perform simulations to evaluate the randomization methods

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Master student of biostatistics, biometry, mathematics or related discipline
• Experience with statistical software packages, preferably R, as well as MS-Office
• Good English language skills (oral and written)

You’ll receive:                                    

• Support of and access to experienced Biostatisticians, Sandoz office and resources (company laptop)
• High visibility of internship within Sandoz while supporting actual development projects
• Presentation of results at both a Sandoz internal and external scientific conference would be supported
• Nominal renumeration
