Job Description

Delta is looking for a Master Service Engineer for its service operations in EMEA region. The Master Service Engineer’s objectives are collection, creation and approval of (UPS) service related content in order to ensure efficient remote, on-site service, repair activities during overall product life time with required knowledge. Furthermore, the position’s objective is to support Datacenter solution design improvement, resolution of complex technical issues and align identified product problems with Engineering, Quality and R&D.

Some of the main responsibilities:

  • Creation and updating of service content for supporting remote and on-site service activities with close co-operation with R&D, Engineering and Project management teams
  • Level 3(expert) remote support (cases escalated by L2)
  • Maintenance of service knowledge base
  • Communication of identified product issues to Quality and R&D
  • Planning and conducting of trainings for level 2 technical support team and Authorized Service Partners
  • Occasional on-site support for commissioning & complex technical issues
  • Product design improvement support
  • Participation in global projects and solutions development activities

Qualifications

  • Very good knowledge and experience with UPS and data center solutions
  • Good technical understanding with understanding of power & infrastructure solutions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to discuss and communicate technical details both at a high level and in simple layman skills
  • Bachelor degree or similar (Electrical)
  • Excellent understanding of end-to-end service processes
  • Fluent English.
  • Good MS Office knowledge
  • Willingness to travel
