Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for conversion of supply plan into a master production schedule which can be executed. Each day, you will translate projected forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule. You will also showcase your expertise by establishing key performance indicators of master plan accuracy.
This role is contributing to the EL Smart Power business in Xiamen China.
You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Customer order management: Receive and evaluate customer orders, make delivery plan according to production capacity and material supply, feedback planned delivery date.
  • Short term production plan:  Make short term FG/SFG production plan and proper OT arrangement based on MPS, actual customer orders, as well as the capacity and material availability.
  • Planning parameter management: Maintain capacity scheduling parameters.
  • Inventory control: Regularly review and analyze products’ ABC/FMR attributes, life cycle and RM supply, set up and maintain the proper safety inventory level for SFG and MTS FG.
  • Order execution monitor: Daily monitor the execution of production plan and order delivery, manage exceptions and resolve them.
  • Customer order OTD monitoring: Manage and monitor customer order on time delivery, monthly analyze the root cause of N-OTD and take actions for improvement.
  • Others: optimization project or task assigned by line manager

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor and above degree, engineering education background is preferred.
  • Familiar with factory operation process, know the normal order handling and production planning methods and KPI.
  • Good data analysis and statistics ability, can find and analyze the issue, identify potential risk and find solution.
  • At least 3-5 years order handling or production planning experience in foreign company, better if ever used lean sigma or other equivalent theory to lead or participate the optimization task
  • Good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing level, has some financial knowledge.
  • Good MS operation and ERP knowledge, be skilled in SAP is preferred
  • Open minded and active in communication, accountable and can bear stress. 
  • Team work, are willing to change and can accept change
