Master Data Specialist

Role Description

As Product Master Data Specialist, you will act as a business partner to various departments (EU&A and local teams supporting 27 EU&A markets) and assume responsibility for the correct flow of Product and Customer Master Data to SAP.

In this role you will be working on two main areas:

1)Master data management:

• Partner with Product Marketing and Business Marketing on Price setting for the new and existing Nu Skin EU&A product range, as part of normal business as well as with promotions and special events.

• Support the Finance Director in the decision-making process relating to price setting and achieving sustainable / required margins.

• Perform the necessary accuracy and compliance checks on Product & Customer Master Data elements and translate those into SAP transactions for EU&A.

• Make sure that the to-be-documented-content is provided and approved by the right people in the organisation.

• Closely coordinate with Corporate Master Data Team the setup of new products

• Update and maintain submission forms required for EU&A product setups.

• Support Sales, Marketing, the Market and FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) team with a price database for the Sales estimate and Margin Contribution calculation.

Continuous improvement

• Constantly improve processes, controls, documentation.

• Train all personnel who produce, change or request Product & Customer Master Data elements.

• Assist or coordinate ad-hoc projects as identified.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree.

• Excellent English skills, both written and verbal.  Any one other European language is considered a plus.

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, excellent knowledge of Excel.

• First experience with SAP or any other ERP system, or highly computer savvy.

• First experience in process improvement, mapping and/or project management.
