Job Purpose
The Central Master Data Administrator is in charge of global management of both purchased, produced and sold products, as well as Business Partners (Suppliers/Customers).
He/she validates and guarantees the quality of data for new creations and modifications into SAP S4HANA via Master Data Governance (MDG) and performs quality check activities of the global databases for entities that are active in SAP S4HANA.
In charge of a qualitative maintenance of the Master Data life cycles; he/she will also initiate and maintain a related detailed documentation (MDG user guides per profiles) as new rollouts bring complementary rules.
Responsibilities & Duties
Develop and maintain master data management processes and policies
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple systems
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve data quality issues
Implement data governance frameworks and best practices
Perform regular data audits and cleansing activities
Create and maintain documentation for data standards and procedures
Provide training and support to end-users on master data management practices
Qualifications & Experience
3+ years of experience in master data management or related role
Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices
Proficiency in data analysis and database management systems
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with MDM tools and technologies (e.g., SAP MDG)
Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
