GEA is undergoing a holistic business transformation. We are harmonising and optimising our global process landscape, strengthening data management & governance as a strategic business capability and migrating to the latest ERP technology (SAP S4/Hana).

We are now seeking a skilled and motivated individual, who is passionate about data, to establish, manage, and optimise our data strategy, data governance and processes supporting business projects, key business tools and functions. This position requires a combination of leadership, technical expertise, and process optimization to ensure high data quality and operational efficiency.

As Master Data Manager (f/m/d/x), you will join our friendly, international, and diverse team either in our Berlin, Düsseldorf or Hertogenbosch office. Join us on our journey towards sustainability and take the first step towards an exciting new opportunity!

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for selected HRT master data domains (e.g.: Supplier, Material, Finance …)

• Develop, document, and optimize processes for data quality, governance, and operational excellence.

• Collaborate with Global Data Governance organisation to define data frameworks & policies for HRT division

• Monitor the performance of data management processes and tools, resolving master data quality issues and implementing process improvements as needed for the business units.

• Collaborate with the global master data organisation and cross-functional teams to align master data domains’ roadmaps with business needs and priorities.

• Ensure compliance with the global master data governance policies and data privacy regulations.

• Collaborate as a technical expert on various projects, e.g. S/4HANA and other business tools.

• Develop a team of data stewards and analysts to ensure efficient data operations across the business units.

• Oversee project timelines and ensure successful delivery of data-related projects.

• Foster a positive team culture focused on continuous improvement and high-quality output.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Your Profile & Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in a Master Data Management or Master Data Governance position with strong experience with master data governance, quality, and management principles

• Strong familiarity with SAP MDG modules for master data governance and management.

• Ideally a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or related field.

• Knowledge of master data management and/or data operations processes.

• Strong methodological and technical understanding of how data can improve business

• Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

• Ability to guide and lead senior management stakeholders on technical expertise and best practices, fostering a data-driven culture.
