A Day in the LifeOur Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune is expanding to serve more people living with diabetes globally. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to transforming diabetes management through innovative solutions and technologies that reduce the burden of living with diabetes.Medtronic is hiring a Master Data Management developer, you will be a key member of the Master Data Management development team, and you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing of MDM solution. As a Master Data Management specialist, you will have hands on experience in Informatica MDM 10.x, IDQ and Java for Master Data Management (MDM) user exits.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
You will be responsible to customize the Master Data Management (MDM) solution by writing Java user exits and update Java code to fix defects and deploy EARs to higher environments, as a Master Data Management (MDM) developer you will integrate external systems using MDM BES via create/update API’s.
Develop Match Rules, develop extensions, user exits, and composite web services for solution integration.
Develop, configure and maintain the Data Models, hierarchies, Activos workflows, match & merge survivorship rules and user interface design.
Develop, configure and maintain Master Data Integration processes for supporting data ingestion, transformation and integration of data with upstream and downstream systems.
Customize the solution by implementing User exits and custom Java cleanse functions.
Design, configure and maintain the E360 UI by creating layouts in business entity framework.
Develop API’s for integrating external applications using BES services.
Data Modelling and technical designs including API and batch/incremental/real time integrations.
Provide support for escalated production issues as well as any issues as part of SDLC across Master Data Management, ETL, BI and data applications.
Support continuous improvement by identifying and proposing tuning opportunities to increase efficiency and quality.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Hands-on experience with Informatica Master Data Management (MDM), standard REST API/SIF/Message Queue based integration for Search-before-create, bi-directional sync.
Experience on Informatica Master Data Management (MDM) hub components: Landing tables, base objects, staging tables, lookup tables, relationships, mappings, cleanse function, trust and matching rules, hierarchy management, E360 (provisioning) etc.
Hands-on Experience in creating mappings, mapplets, sessions, workflows, worklets in Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
Strong functional knowledge and experience mastering multiple domains.
Hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL.
Experience with IICS and/or Informatica PowerCenter other ETL or BI technologies is preferred.
Superior technical knowledge in Data Quality, Standards, Governance, and Design.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred.
Requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
