Context and Main Purpose of the Job
A Master Data Excellence role typically involves ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of an organization’s master data.
Project Objectives:
- Improving data accuracy & consistency.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies.
Key Responsibilities / Focus Areas:
- Data Management: Design, implement, and maintain master data management systems and solutions.
- Data Quality: Analyze and troubleshoot data issues, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and gather data requirements.
- Data Standards: Define and implement data standards, policies, and procedures.
- Data Cleansing: Conduct data cleansing to remove old, unused, or duplicate data.
- Compliance: Ensure all master data complies with data privacy and protection regulations.
- Training: Provide training and support to end-users for proper use of data systems.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on the statuses, results, and issues in data management activities
