As a Data Governance Analyst within Micron’s Enterprise Master Data (EMD) team, you will establish and manage the policies that direct our master data. This is an excellent chance to aid in the creation and rollout of solutions that enhance Micron's overall data quality. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead master data governance councils to ensure smooth implementation of data governance strategies.

  • Uphold and strictly enforce data governance policies to maintain consistency and quality of master data.

  • Drive consensus on master data-related issues and process gaps, ensuring world-class standards.

  • Analyze data, information, and business requirements to understand the effects of poor data quality.

  • Build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of internal organizations to understand and meet current and future data needs.

  • Prepare and present conclusions and recommendations for continuous improvement opportunities to collaborators and leadership.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in data assignment and the systems used to manage data in assigned functional areas.

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.S. in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or related experience.

  • 5-10 years of combined experience in the semiconductor industry, data management, or data governance.

  • Proven success as a change agent with demonstrated improvement in data quality.

  • Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment with a high tolerance for making decisions amid ambiguity.

  • Strong customer focus with the ability to quickly understand complex or unfamiliar subject areas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Self-motivated and dedicated to supporting others, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to drive the development, documentation, and implementation of business processes.

  • Ability to identify, understand, and communicate interdependencies and impact across the organization.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Copilot or other AI software.

  • Proficiency in standard data management systems and tools (e.g., SAP, SQL, Informatica, Teamcenter).
