JOB DESCRIPTION
  • The Master Data Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency, and governance of enterprise master data through data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role supports business initiatives by providing actionable insights, improving data quality, and driving continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities.  

Data Analysis

  • Perform data mining and advanced statistical analysis.
  • Identify data quality issues and recommend solutions.
  • Develop reports and dashboards.
  • Support business decisions through data insights.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Process workload queues to meet SLAs.
  • Execute data maintenance activities.
  • Support email campaigns and call-out tasks when required.
  • Ensure accurate reporting through system queries.
  • The MDM Analyst will adapt to evolving business needs, balancing operational activities such as supplier outreach via phone or email with reporting, data analysis, and project-based responsibilities, while developing a strong understanding of the business. (Making calls 100% of the time)

Working Schedule

  • C4 schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 05:00 pm. CR TIME  
  • Daily working hours, breaks, and lunch schedules are assigned based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in data analysis, Master Data Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) applications.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (B2+ or higher) and ability to collaborate across functions and geographies.
  • Experience developing supplier relationships and supporting cross-functional business processes.
  • Basic understanding of GS1 Standards for product and supplier master data is preferred.
  • Theoretical knowledge of statistics and quantitative analysis techniques (e.g., spreadsheet modeling, regression analysis).
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, charting, data connections, and basic automation using macros and VBA.
  • Experience running queries within business systems to support reporting and data analysis (not as a platform owner).
  • Experience with Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, SQL Server, Tableau, and data warehouse querying tools (e.g., Business Objects) is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving business needs by supporting operational activities, including supplier outreach via phone or email, as well as reporting, data analysis, and project-based responsibilities.

On-site presence is required only when necessary, such as for meetings, trainings, or collaborative activities, in alignment with the company’s telework agreement, which currently requires employees to work on-site three (3) days per week)
