What’s the role?  

Position Summary:

The Master Data Administrator role responsibility is the accurate creation and ongoing maintenance of Customer / Vendor master data for multiple Zeiss business groups in SAP.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain Customer Accounts in SAP – MDG (P8G), ERP (P10), & CRM (P8C)

Create new customer accounts and/or make changes to existing accounts. Requests for these add / changes received in the following sources:

• MDG & CRM – requests submitted by Internal Departments submitted by (but not limited to) Order Admin, Tech Support, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• SalesForce – requests (cases) submitted by Sales Associates
• Customer Mail
• Returned Mail
• SharePoint

Maintain Vendor Accounts in SAP – MDG (P8G), ERP (P10)

Create new vendor accounts or make changes to existing accounts. Requests for these add / changes received in the following sources:

• SharePoint
• SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) – P8G

Administrators are responsible to adhere to the Global data standards established for Customer / Vendor Master and to understand the various work processes specific to each Business Group and/or Region

Do you qualify?

Specific MDG &/or ERP knowledge useful, but not essential (can be learned) - SAP preferred.

Must be detail oriented and able to follow complex procedures,

Excellent organization and prioritization skills

Advanced Data Entry skills required,

Excellent written and oral communication (interpersonal and organizational) skills.

The annual pay range for this position is $50,000 – $75,000

The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.

This position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions. ZEISS also offers robust benefits, including medical plans, retirement savings plan and paid time off.
