Key Responsibilities
The Master’s primary responsibility must always be the safe navigation and conduct of the ship. In this respect, and regardless of any commercial implications, the Master shall use their judgement and not hesitate to alter course and speed if required by exceptional circumstances. - reviewing the Company’s policies, procedures and instructions regarding safety and pollution prevention
- ensuring compliance with all legislation and regulations affecting the ship’s operation and the interests of those on board
