About this opportunity:
We are looking for an Antenna Designer in Massive MIMO and a team worker. You have strong analytical skills. You are a stronger driver and fast learner. You have high interest and extensive experience in the field of antenna design and systemization, and their use in complex radio products and advanced antenna systems for cellular radio networks.
As an Antenna Designer, you will be a key member of a team that is developing the next generation of Ericsson radio products. You will participate in evolving antenna system requirements for next generation products, sourced antenna developments using worldwide antenna suppliers, as well as our own designs, for our own radio products and solutions. You will contribute to the evolution of our product portfolio, participate in pre-development projects as well as in technical studies and follow the developments in coming generation Radio systems.
What you will do:
- Be a driver and member of a team that is developing the next generation of advanced antenna system
- Share your experience and knowledge as technical leader
- Simulate, develop and review design solutions and develop high-quality antenna products
- Work with continuous improvements in products and processes
- Develop competence in the troubleshooting technical domain
- Work with strategic technical leadership
- Perform troubleshooting and customer support
- Collaborate with antenna suppliers when applicable
- Verify high-quality products and analyze the spatial performance
The skills you bring:
- Major in microwave, wireless communication or equivalent, master's degree or above
- Solid knowledge in microwave and electromagnetic field
- Comprehensive knowledge of antenna application in Base Transceiver Station area preferred
- Experienced in Radio/RF/antenna technologies and products
- Experienced in Antenna production processes and quality assurance for high-volume production
- Extensive experience from antenna technology, including systemization, antenna design knowledge and fabrication processes
- Extensive knowledge of antenna system, antenna test and/or antenna products
- Good knowledge in 3GPP
- HFSS and (ADS) RF design tools knowledge
- Fluent in oral English and excellent in written English
Additional Requirements:
- Solid knowledge of Radio design and mmW Antenna design
- Ability to work in a multi-functional and network-oriented organization
- Ability to innovate, adapt, and respond to change
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Developed knowledge sharing and collaboration skills
- Extensive experience in MATLAB
