Job Description:
The Mars Wrigley Global Hub Finance Lead serves as a trusted partner in the global hub organization and provides financial leadership for over $1B of costs across all functions and is the primary business partner to the MGS FP&A organization. The purpose of this role is to partner with the global functional leaders and their finance business partners in pursuit of dynamic strategic resource allocation and cost optimization. Responsibilities include defining and ensuring the delivery of the financial objectives through managing senior global stakeholders as well as realizing and judging risks and opportunities to the Global Hub’s P&L and cashflow delivery. This position provides insights on operating results, clarifies key performance indicators for value creation outlook, and helps define the long-term value creation plans.
What are we looking for?
- 10+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, accounting, and business partnering
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field
- MBA or other advanced degree in business or finance preferred
What will be your key responsibilities?
Owns the delivery of the $1.1B cost base of the Mars Wrigley global hub through partnership with the global leaders of each function and their teams:
- Leads the long-range, annual and intra-year financial planning for the global hub which includes setting financial targets and driving resource allocation decisions in service of:
- providing financial advice to ensure sound financial and operational decisions
- support defining strategy and implementation
- developing and evaluating longer term cost optimization strategies
- validate forecasts and investment plans across all global functions
- Serves as the finance planning business partner to the Mars Global Services (MGS) organization ($700M cost base) co-creating the business plans with MGS that meet the segment’s strategic and finance goals
- Financial lead of the Simply Brillant $50M transformation programs driving the choices and trade-off decisions of the program
- Digital solution lead for Mars Snacking Overheads $3.3B required liaison with corporate, MGS and regions
- Primary financial business partner of P&O, S&F, Legal, Corporate Affairs, Strategy, Facilities
- Period close responsible for B/S, P&L accuracy
- Support in ad-hoc requests for Mars Inc. and Mars Snacking
