As a Product Owner at Questel, you will play a crucial role in developing our Markify Search tool. Operating within an agile environment, the Product Owner will be responsible for defining and managing feature development and ensuring successful delivery of value to our customers. Our Markify Trademark Search product is becoming increasingly central to our global strategy. While it's not yet our flagship product, it has an aggressive roadmap and significant potential to scale. This is a unique opportunity to shape and drive a product, making a direct impact on its future success.

We are looking for a Product Owner with strong specification, technical expertise. The core of our Markify TM search and watch product is the similarity algorithms used to help match clients search terms with previously trademarks words or images. We plan to invest heavily in the improvements of the associated algorithms and integration of AI and particularly Large Language Models.    

👉 Specific data tasks:

• Collaborate with the Product Manager and lead dev teams’ direction through active participation in Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint review, and retrospectives) 
• Present project proposals to the dev team and oversee release planning and communication 
• Write specification and refine user stories and acceptance criteria 
• Make sure Subject Matter Experts and other stakeholders (Sales) have the info they need about the new features

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
• Proven product development experience / technical experience
• Strong Project Management skills
• Experience working with LLM 

• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements, demonstrating strong specification skills 
• Understanding of linguistics and word similarity and/or image similarity matching techniques 
• A strong grasp of UX principles, with sensitivity to user needs and deep comprehension of design best practices would be a plus
  
• Experience in the Intellectual Property sector is welcome, but a strong curiosity and interest in the field matter even more
  

• Fluency in English
