As a Markets Unity Program/Project Manager Associate, you become part of a dedicated group of Program Managers within the Markets business that are committed to delivering better ways of working for our customers. As a Unity Program Manager you will be committed to driving delivery through the use of process redesign, data, and technology working in partnership with Product Mangers, Tech Delivery Managers, DXD, Data Science Project Managers and stakeholders.
You aim to bring teams, data and intelligence together onto a Digital Workflow Management Solution designed to help centralise workflows, prioritise business critical actions, accelerate response times & optimize resolution pathways driving Operational Efficiency, Client Excellence & Pro-Active Risk Mitigation
You will be responsible for the delivery of key priority use cases through effective collaboration, identifying and removing challenges and managing dependencies of varying complexity.
Job responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and drive execution of the end-to-end delivery of assigned business cases within Unity partnering closely with teams across relevant Business teams, Technology, DXD, Data Science, and other related teams
  • Shape and drive activities supporting the governance infrastructure and protocols
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Product Managers, partners, stakeholders, and team members
  • Drive problem solving and decision making working towards value driven delivery roadmaps
  • Identify proactively and escalate any issues, risks or dependencies and facilitate communication across the impacted teams
  • Analyse, and mitigate program risks, managing program issues to minimize impact on delivery. Ensure timely resolution of issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Develop and maintain program plans with clear timelines and business value, focussing on plan vs delivery
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the program team
  • Facilitate regular meetings with Product Managers and Partners to gather feedback, scorecard updates and ensure alignment with business goals and value.


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Proven experience in driving, executing and delivery of Programs within the financial services industry in the Markets domain
  • Experience working in agile teams with technologists and project managers. Confident to question business and technology requirements and solutions respectively
  • Excellent communication (both written and oral), ability to create and deliver executive summary and presentations
  • Relationship building skills and work in a collaborative team environment. Logical and structured approach to planning, analysis and decision-making
  • Organised and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Experience of using JIRA and MS Office
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities with attention to detail in written documentation
  • Self-motivated, driven to learn and to achieve targets and deliverables.
  • Attentive to details and ability to work independently, and with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills at both working group and senior management level. High levels of resilience and motivation, with an inclination to take rather than deflect ownership
