As a Markets Operations – Transactions Analyst in Markets Operations, Currencies and Emerging Markets, you support document management, settlement activities, and local regulatory reporting across foreign exchange, derivatives, fixed income, loans, and money markets. You help ensure transactions and supporting controls run smoothly by coordinating with internal partners and external clients to investigate and resolve issues. You contribute to automation and system change efforts that reduce manual work and improve accuracy and risk management. You’ll balance day-to-day execution with continuous improvement in a team that values clear communication and ownership.

Currencies and Emerging Markets supports transaction operations across a diverse, high-velocity product set. You’ll collaborate closely with business, technology, and control partners to deliver reliable processing while improving processes through automation and well-governed change delivery.
 

Job responsibilities

  • Support document management, settlement support, and local regulatory reporting across foreign exchange, derivatives, fixed income, loans, and money markets
  • Coordinate with internal partners and external clients to investigate breaks, resolve issues, and drive timely closure
  • Prepare and deliver accurate regulatory reporting and supporting documentation aligned to defined controls and deadlines
  • Maintain document review, indexing, inventory, retention, and destruction processes in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements
  • Track and manage project documentation through the delivery lifecycle, including requirements, testing evidence, and control artifacts
  • Partner with technology teams to support system migrations, automation delivery, and post-change stabilization
  • Identify manual steps and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk
  • Communicate status, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders, escalating appropriately when needed
  • Manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail and quality
     

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and foundational experience in banking, markets operations, or a related financial services role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to organize and collaborate using Microsoft SharePoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including structured issue investigation and root-cause thinking
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines with consistent accuracy and follow-through
  • Basic project coordination skills, including documentation, tracking, and stakeholder updates
  • Dependable ownership mindset with strong attention to detail and accountability

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience supporting document management, settlement, and/or regulatory reporting processes
  • Exposure to foreign exchange, derivatives, fixed income, loans, and/or money markets operations
  • Experience with automation and analytics tools such as Alteryx, robotic process automation (UiPath), or Tableau
  • Taiwan Senior Securities Specialist License , Financial Markets and Professional Ethics license, Bank Internal Control and Audit license
