Job summary
The Asia Markets Events Marketing role is based in Mumbai and focuses on the planning and execution of strategic marketing plans for various client segments. In this role, you will collaborate with Market Sales, including Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, Debt Capital Market, Equity Derivatives Group, eSales, & ICM, to implement tailored programs for specific clientele.
Responsibilities include organize networking events, conferences, seminars, and training programs, conducting investor calls, managing company roadshows, and preparing analytical reports post-events with professional courtesy and acumen. The goal is to deliver flawless work output.
As an Events Marketing Analyst, you will support efforts to increase client business/deepen existing client relationships, create and drive efficiencies for all internal partners and maintain J.P. Morgan brand standards in all events.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define, support, identify, evaluate and create content for event marketing opportunities that align with the business agenda
- Support end-to-end marketing events, including planning, content development, time management, resourcing, budgeting, translation, onsite support, event measurement and reporting. Manage logistics for Debt Capital Market deal/non-deal roadshow and provide onsite luncheon support
- Lead and manage low-touch client events, offering guidance where appropriate. Track and manage budgets and spending summaries for projects. Act as the data gatekeeper for all the investors and participating companies, Ensuring accurate access tracking, activity monitoring, and related payments
- Develop strategic agenda and content for events. Oversee the creation of event agendas in collaboration with marketing and business teams, including coordination with internal and external speakers and panelists, entertainment and venue research, audio-visual requirements, and briefing memos.
- Work with the Creative Services team to develop client communication materials such as invitations, speakers biography templates, nametags, place cards, menu cards, seating arrangements, and speaker introductions
- Organize networking events, from venue search and entertainment suggestions to budget planning, execution, and post-event analysis summaries. Assist in the planning and preparation of conferences and client training programs
- Manage and maintain the Research Analyst Meeting Schedule, suggest travel arrangements, and provide instructions for onshore support at respective locations
- Adhere to internal and regulatory policy and procedures regarding reporting activities and spending, legal and compliance regulations, approval processes, and data privacy
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field
- 3 or more years of experience in marketing or event planning field, particularly within the financial services industry
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage projects and related tasks independently, along with strong analytical skills
- Ability to develop event marketing strategies that supports ongoing business growth priorities while managing and adhering to strict budget parameters
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously; adaptable, flexible and willing to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong team player with a proven ability to achieve proposed targets and support team members with their events as needed
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft office
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience with event organization is a plus
