The Markets Close Analyst I is an entry level position responsible for contributing to efforts that ensure the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank’s books and records in coordination with the Markets Controllers Finance team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in the preparation and posting of closing accounting entries, control and support of data integrity, and general ledger reconciliation-P&L and balance sheet reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Execute a book of work during the month-end close
- Maintain control guidelines and supporting documentation
- Escalate anomalies and issues in an efficient and timely manner
- Support senior Markets Controllers with analysis and substantiation
Qualifications:
- General knowledge of Financial Statements
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Exemplary organizational skills and self-review skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced English Skills required
- Intermediate-Advanced Excel knowledge
- Accounting Knowledge is preferred
- Detailed Oriented / Analytical
