Role Description: 

As a Marketplace Product Manager, you will play a critical role in prioritizing and validating problems to then implement and launch a new product line; Unicorn Delivery Service (UDS) Marketplace. You will own the product vision, roadmap, priorities, validation, implementation, and ultimately the viability of the product offering. This will require ensuring alignment with both customer needs and company objectives. This role demands a unique blend of collaboration across business segments, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of mission application deployment and marketplace delivery methods. You will be responsible for leading a cross-functional, matrix-aligned team of engineers, designers, marketers, and mission experts.

Responsibilities: 

  • Define and execute the product vision and strategy for the UDS Marketplace, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs
  • Build momentum for an increasing breadth of applications that work as part of the UDS integrated system
  • Manage numerous partner relationships and terms in order to co-generate sales leads
  • Ensure continued support and testing for cloud-native applications by managing supplier container image and helm charts
  • Build and maintain an iterative front-end for discoverability and user interaction
  • Prioritize and manage the product roadmap, balancing customer, business, and technical priorities while synthesizing external customer requests into actionable features and backlogs
  • Collaborate with the Growth team to align on product pricing, customer segmentation, and value propositions, driving overall product success
  • Measure and assess the impact of product solutions through key performance indicators (KPIs), including page views, conversion rates, and subscription metrics
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to mission application demand and marketplace dynamics
  • Present product updates and strategic insights in customer-facing engagements, ensuring clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, remote working environment, demonstrating high levels of discipline, self-motivation, and adaptability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Enough technical breadth to work with engineering and design to trade off roadmap versus engineering effort needed

The listed responsibilities are not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned based on the evolving needs of the organization. We are seeking a dynamic individual who is able to adapt and take on new responsibilities as they arise. 

Travel Expectations/Requirements: 10-15%

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience establishing a product roadmap with themes, team charters, OKRs/KPIs to track success, design docs, and breaking down work with engineering into milestone releases
  • Knowledge of and experience with monetization models for marketplace platforms
  • 5+ years of leading products from idea to market and operations
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and thrive in a remote work setup

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Direct experience with launching and managing a marketplace platform
  • Empathy for the National Security mission and challenges they face in delivering software and data solutions

Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience. Compensation ranges are established using national benchmarking data and apply across all geographic locations within the United States.
