Your Role at impact.com

The Marketplace Growth Brand Lifecycle Manager is a newly created role central to driving next-level brand success on impact.com's Marketplace. This role owns the full brand life cycle — from onboarding and activation through engagement, optimization, and re-engagement — ensuring brands are set up to grow productive, high-performing partnerships at scale. The ideal candidate brings a growth mindset, a passion for personalized communication, and a strong command of AI-powered tools and automation to deliver timely, relevant, and high-impact touchpoints across in-app experiences, mailers, and notification prompts. Success in this role means brands don't just join the Marketplace — they thrive in it. This position reports to the Associate Director, Marketplace Growth.

What You'll Do

Are you obsessed with getting great results? Our ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with creative execution and a bias toward automation and scale. You know how to move brands through a lifecycle — and you know how to use AI to do it smarter and faster.

Your job will:

Focus on driving brand growth across every stage of the marketplace lifecycle — from first activation to long-term optimization — using data, personalization, and AI-powered automation to deliver the right message at the right moment.

More specifically, you'll get to:

  • Own the brand lifecycle end-to-end — design and execute strategies to onboard, activate, engage, optimize, and re-engage brands across the Marketplace, reducing time-to-first-partnership and increasing long-term program performance.
  • Build and scale lifecycle communications — develop clear, compelling, and personalized touchpoints across in-app prompts, mailers, and notification channels that guide brands toward key milestones and marketplace success.
  • Leverage AI to automate and scale — use AI tools and automation to build dynamic, auto-updating workflows, personalized messaging sequences, and scalable lifecycle programs that reduce manual effort and increase reach.
  • Identify and act on lifecycle signals — analyze brand behavior data to detect activation gaps, dormancy risk, and optimization opportunities, then trigger targeted interventions to move brands forward.
  • Become deeply familiar with impact.com's product offering and translate that knowledge into lifecycle strategies that drive measurable brand behavior change.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Product Marketplace, Data Science, Content Marketing, and CS to align lifecycle initiatives across channels and surfaces.
  • Design and run A/B tests on messaging, timing, and channel mix to continuously improve lifecycle conversion rates and brand engagement.
  • Set goals and be held accountable to metrics — including activation rate, time-to-first-partnership, re-engagement rate, GTV contribution, and program productivity.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
What You Bring
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a growth, lifecycle marketing, or partnerships role within a marketplace, e-commerce, or SaaS environment.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools and automation platforms to build scalable workflows and personalized communications.
  • Proficiency in data analysis — ability to interpret lifecycle metrics, identify trends, and translate insights into action.
  • Experience designing and executing multi-channel lifecycle programs (in-app, email, notifications).
  • Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics and two-sided or multi-sided platform ecosystems.
  • Comfort with A/B testing and iterative experimentation.
  • Strong written communication skills — able to craft clear, engaging, and brand-appropriate copy for lifecycle touchpoints.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and present insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with team management and collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Confluence, Jira, Slack).
  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Bachelor's degree.
