What you’ll do

We are looking for a Marketplace Category Manager to join our Marketplace Team!

Reporting to the Marketplace Manager, this role is responsible for leading the seller account management  and onboarding team, along with playing an integral role in driving growth across the seller partner portfolio and categories.  

  • Develop strong and sustainable relationships with external partners and work closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding results.
  • Drive growth and expand the product range, ensuring the best shopping experience for our customers.
  • Work closely with the Marketplace team, internal support functions and 3rd party partners to develop and build one of the best Marketplaces in Australia.
  • Analyse data to understand key performance indicators and develop action plans to maximise opportunities and/or manage performance.
  • Drive actions and initiatives to continuously improve customer experience.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and management of key strategic plans.

Who we’re looking for

Our ideal candidate will be customer and quality focused, passionate about eCommerce and have working knowledge of online marketplaces, systems and processes.

They will have strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills, be excited by challenges and ready to deliver outstanding results. Additionally, they will have strong problem solving skills and the ability to work well in stressful situations.  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/commerce/marketing/technology or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in eCommerce/Marketplace role
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Technical and system competence.
  • Mirakl or related platform experience
  • Technical trouble shooting and problem solving
