We’re looking for a Vice President, Product Marketing, to join Procore’s global marketing team as a groundbreaking leader. In this role, you’ll lead a global team of product marketers who will revolutionize how construction is done. You’ll be a product and market expert who develops product positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation while defining the target buyer segments across our three audiences and GTM motion. You will consistently deliver revenue-focused go-to-market strategies and product launch plans that drive awareness, preference, purchase, adoption, and growth.
As a Vice President, Product Marketing, you’ll partner across the organization with other teams such as Product, Sales, and Customer Success, to bring amazing new awareness of products and services to our customers in the construction world. Use your deep marketing knowledge, along with your exceptional EQ, IQ, creativity, and relationship skills, to build out the world with Procore! This role will be accountable for aligning the revenue engine for competitive advantage.
This position reports into SVP of Global Marketing and can be based remotely in the US with travel to our HQ in Carpinteria, CA. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you’ll do:
Build, coach, and lead a best-in-class product marketing and sales enablement organization
Drive execution of the new and existing go-to-market strategy, including the product launch process
Work closely with the sales and enablement teams to develop strategy and content that enables the sales team to shorten the sale cycle and improve rates while reducing churn
Build a communications strategy and compelling messaging to drive awareness and consideration for products, as well as drive product adoption among existing customers
Lead the target buyer and user segment definition process for products and services to drive marketing programs strategy and provide insights to internal teams
Collaborate, lead, and create targeted campaigns that drive awareness, preference, purchase, and adoption
Work closely with Product Leadership to understand the details of a product release, and translate that information into our customer solutions, messaging documentation, and internal readiness for product launch
Be an evangelist for the product within the company, helping everyone understand key positioning and messages, working closely with clients and users alike
What we’re looking for:
10+ years of Product and/or Product Marketing Experience in software with a minimum of 4 years of SaaS experience
BA/BS or Equivalent, MBA a plus
Proven experience managing multiple layers of marketers; evidence of shaping customer and data-driven strategies, driving the successful delivery of complex product marketing campaigns
Proven success collaborating with product, customer success, sales, and executive teams to launch new products
Deep expertise in product positioning (e.g., you’ve built out competitive battle cards, been a product evangelist, and can drive strategy and creation of internal and external product enablement collateral)
An analytical mindset with the ability to research and synthesize ample data about specific markets
Ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Proven ability to collaborate with all levels of management as a tactical and strategic partner, coach, and advisor
A strong capacity to navigate vagueness and drive clarity while remaining humble, hungry, and honest
A deep connection to the construction industry and or the con-tech landscape is a plus
