Job Description
Zscaler is looking for our first dedicated Solutions Marketing role for the Public Sector. We are looking for an expert with experience in developing messaging for Federal, State and Local government as well as the Education customers. As a Solution Marketer, you will be responsible for building Zscaler's solution messaging and positioning for the U.S. Public Sector.
Our ideal candidate would be an experienced marketer with an in-depth knowledge of the security, IT, and digital transformation challenges of Public Sector organizations and agencies. Domain expertise is required, in order to present credible thought leadership and messaging to this market. The right candidate will be an effective collaborator and can work across teams to develop compelling messaging, positioning overviews, blog posts, multi-touch email campaigns, and can curate relevant content that reflects appropriate messaging.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create messaging and assets to articulate how Zscaler solutions address Public Sector agency and institution challenges
  • Work cross functionally across Zscaler's marketing team to develop and support Public Sector campaigns with compelling content across the marketing/buyer journey funnel.
  • Partner with field marketing and sales to create messaging and content for pipeline growth
  • Develop customer-facing content resources such as blogs, eBooks, whitepapers, webinar series, solution briefs, podcast series, presentation decks, webpage copy to educate customers and prospects
  • Create partner marketing content and assets to enable our channel partners with go-to market campaigns in a box.
  • Work with product management to ensure data sheets are updated for public sector to include gov cloud differentiators and features unique to the education market
  • Scale existing relevant commercial programs and modify to reach the public sector audience
  • Collaborate with sales enablement on development of the public sector content library, ensuring it is up to date and in line with all of Zscaler's new tools, playbooks and resources
  • Develop communications for customers and prospects to build loyalty and awareness of the Zscaler value ie., customer newsletters, nurture, outreach and drip campaigns etc.
  • Serve as a liaison between the sales and corporate marketing and support teams to ensure that messaging and campaigns align with specific public sector market trends, mandates, and unique requirements
  • Manage content strategy for web interfaces and other digital marketing assets (including email marketing)


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product marketing, solutions marketing, or experience with IT products in the Public Sector.
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to drive complex, cross-functional projects
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
  • Understanding of Federal, State and Local and Education challenges and requirements
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment and buying cycles for US Public Sector organizations
