Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Lennox International (LII) is a leading global provider of innovative climate control solutions for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) markets. The Social Media Strategist reports to the Brand Marketing Manager in Lennox Residential and is responsible for shaping social strategy around how we effectively engage our social community. You will bring fresh perspective and ideas that are channel optimized and results-focused. You will develop and execute social strategies, partner with our inhouse creative and manage a social team that resides with our external agency to deliver content and curate key insights from our social platform and communities. You will ensure our communities reflect our brand standards and our response strategy is best in class. This role requires innovation and a constant supply of ideas to cultivate engaged communities and advocates.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prefer Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications
  • At least 6-8 years' experience in a social media environment, ideally within a B2B or agency environment with B2B clients
  • Deep understanding of current and emerging social media platforms and working knowledge of platform specific algorithmic key drivers to maximize exposure
  • You keep up on the latest trends and their broader impacts on the marketplace and have a proven history of growing communities, engagement, and brand advocacy
  • Demonstrated ability to lead internal and external cross-functional work groups and outside partners
  • Experienced and savvy working in enterprise social media digital platforms (preferably Khoros) to curate insights from brand channels and social listening
  • Possess a strong data and insights driven business acumen in B2B and/or B2C social strategy across a mix of channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter as well as others.
  • Identify new developments and trends in the social media market, including tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy, that could be of benefit to the business
  • The ideal candidate can manage social media clients expectations along with agency delivery, while working to broaden his/her skills and potentially cultivate a long term career within an industry leading marketing department
  • You are known as a collaborative team player with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • You are flexible and resilient. You bring a 'can do' attitude and a good sense of humor
  • You can write creative briefs that bring great strategies to life and know how to partner closely with inhouse creative and/or external agencies to unlock strong creative content
  • Possess an eye for good design, copy, video
  • Bonus if you have experience writing blogs, delivering engaging website content, and managing paid media more broadly
