Sr. Social Media & Community Manager


We are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. You will be the intersection between our community including but not limited to parents, teachers, and influencers - implementing social media and content strategies on various social media platforms. The right candidate will be highly data-driven and have a proven track record of content creation and community growth. You will be an expert at planning digital campaigns and engagement strategies to build our community online and offline

Sr. Social Media Manager duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
  • Manage and oversee social media content
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign and daily activity
  • Daily monitoring and engaging with the community across all social platforms 
  • Filter requests to appropriate teams - PR, Influencer partnerships, Customer Service, etc.
  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer and HootSuite
  • Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Development teams
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • 5 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
  • Strong understanding of design, video and photography
  • Strong understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
  • Expert understanding of social media KPIs
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Social media user/Influencer - Proficiency in social media platforms and strong understanding of on-trend social media growth tactics
  • Proven track record of scaling social media presence, launching creative campaigns, developing creative and content strategies
  • Bonus: Experience in the entertainment / toy / tech space (3-12 y.o.)
