Can you drive important organic growth in the education space? We are seeking an individual to research, prioritize and direct SEO efforts, including onsite and offsite optimization and keyword expansion. You'll also help provide guidance for paid search campaigns to ensure their success.

We are looking for an analytical, self-motivated professional who is a skilled communicator and able to collaborate with various teams. With current knowledge of SEO and SEM standard methodologies and techniques, your goal will be to ensure that content is search-engine friendly and optimized to increase visibility and profitability outcomes.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Collect data and report on traffic, rankings, and other SEO aspects
  • Manage offsite and onsite optimization projects and report on performance
  • Perform ongoing keyword research including optimization, discovery, and expansion of keyword opportunities
  • Research and implement content recommendations for organic SEO success
  • Collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights for maximum return on investment in paid search campaigns
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to direct off-page optimization projects (such as link-building)
  • Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine optimization
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code

Experience/Requirements

  • A minimum of two years of SEO experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of standard and current best practices, ranking factors, and search engine algorithms
  • Solid understanding of HTML/CSS
  • Experience with SEO reporting
  • Experience with relevant tools (e.g. SEMRush, Screaming Frog, MOZ) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, WebTrends)
  • Proven SEM research experience supporting Paid Search campaigns
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Analytical mentality with numerical proficiency
  • Proficient in MS Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in educational marketing a huge plus
