***THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION***ABOUT THE JOB:

SEO Analysts monitor the industries covered on our site and set the overall content strategy based on business objectives and priorities. They're responsible for identifying and prioritizing the content to be created or refreshed based upon what is of highest value to the business, and communicating those objectives to the content team.

The SEO Analyst is responsible for researching a variety of industries to discover gaps in our current content and opportunities where our pages can be optimized. Your typical day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring site metrics for areas that need to be updated, creating content briefs and providing strategies to improve site traffic.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop optimization strategies that improve our SERP rankings and drive organic traffic
  • Perform keyword research and competitive analyses
  • Recommend and facilitate strategies for content development in support of SEO goals
  • Provide regular analysis and recommendations for website content and metadata
  • Follow SEO trends and stay up-to-date with new tools and practices
  • Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources in an effective and timely manner and demonstrate respect for others
  • Own reporting of main SEO metrics and communication of reporting with stakeholders
  • Identify hypotheses that we should test to improve performance on Google
  • Measure test results and communicate all relevant learnings
  • Work with internal partners to build our dashboards and reports to support various OKRs
  • Manage data vendor relationships

Requirements

Education/Licensure/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Communications or relevant field or equivalent experience

Experience:

  • 1-2+ years of SEO experience

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Experience with Google services including AdWords, Search Console (Webmaster Tools), and Google Analytics
  • Experience administering content in CMS environments
  • Familiarity with tools of the trade (MOZ, SEMrush, Majestic, etc.)
  • Experience utilizing SEO in reputation management and brand-building
  • Have hands-on experience executing integrated SEO programs with proven success
  • A functional understanding of back-end elements such as HTML, CSS and schema
  • Stands up for decisions, takes responsibility for results and shares both good and bad outcomes transparently
  • Demonstrates a relentless focus on results with a commitment to deliver

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

  • Location: Remote / Tulsa
  • Frequency of travel: Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training and/or conferences
  • Light physical activities and efforts required in working within an office environment
