The Senior Manager, STEM Content Marketing is a key player on a fast paced, highly united team. The Senior Marketing Manager views themselves as critical to the success of Amplify's STEM solutions, and is motivated by the opportunities Amplify has to positively impact the lives of millions of students. The person in this role will be responsible for developing and implementing thought leadership programs and messaging crafted to educate the market on critical STEM issues, raising awareness in order to ensure the success of all STEM marketing campaigns.
The Senior Manager, STEM Content Marketing collaborates with key partners from the marketing and product teams to develop and implement a comprehensive thought leadership strategy, including:

  • Creating webinar and event programs
  • Defining strategic focus for Math Teacher Lounge and Science Connections podcasts
  • Creating long-form campaign assets such as ebooks, videos, infographics, and resource sites
  • Building STEM communities aligned to Amplify solutions.


In collaboration with Product Marketing, the Senior Manager crafts and structures campaigns which will lead educators from awareness to realizing their need for Amplify solutions. The ideal candidate collaborates well, communicates efficiently, and prioritizes projects to meet the needs of contending demands, ensuring that our work accurately presents our inclusive, diverse brand.
Responsibilities of the Senior Manager, STEM Content Marketing:

  • Lead and complete thought leadership initiatives (events, conference planning and attendance, podcast, content development, building and demonstrating influencer network) that increase awareness of key STEM issues and Amplify solutions
  • Partner with external and internal guides to educate the market on these key issues
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to inform messaging and positioning for Amplify's STEM products
  • Write emails, landing pages, ads, social posts, and content marketing assets for all STEM thought leadership initiatives
  • Working closely with Digital Marketing Managers, implement digital campaigns that drive awareness and marketing-generated bookings for Amplify's STEM solutions
  • Guide positioning of Math Teacher Lounge and Science Connections podcasts


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Education or related field
  • 3+ years of validated experience in marketing or content development within education publishing and/or STEM education experience
  • Ability to handle projects across multiple internal and external partners


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with external experts including authors and researchers
  • Knowledge of the STEKnowledge of the Science of Reading and research-based literacy practices
  • Experience marketing STEM solutions
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills
  • Experience working in the educational technology or publishing industry
