About the job
The Red Hat Portfolio Marketing Team is looking for a Senior Global Enablement Manager to join us. In this role, you will support the implementation of Red Hat's portfolio and product strategies through close working relationships with marketing and sales teams globally. You will be at the forefront of our product and solution strategies, collaborating to build enablement plans, and influence global enablement strategies. To succeed in this role, you'll need the ability to be a good partner to multiple stakeholders as you will need to listen to multiple perspectives, sometimes conflicting goals, and coalesce them into a detailed plan that meets numerous stakeholder needs. Your stakeholders include product marketing, product management, technical and non-technical field teams, and regional enablement teams
You will need to deliver thoughtfully, quickly, and with results top of mind. Your ability to manage and self-prioritize multiple critical projects is a necessity. Being open, collaborative, and inquisitive is a must. Those who ask questions succeed on our team. Additionally, you should have an understanding of and empathy for the pressures that product marketers and different sales roles face. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do

  • Schedule and coordinate enablement activities
  • Develop enablement plans that reflect sales needs and desired outcomes from Business Units (e.g., Products and Technologies)
  • Support marketers in organizing content and messaging for field in an efficient and effective way
  • Act as a point of contact between product marketing and field teams
  • Maintain regular cadence with field leadership and field groups
  • Work cross-functionally to develop field and partner communication plans and sales enablement strategies
  • Work closely with learning specialists to support content and course delivery
  • Keep and establish metrics and objectives for sales enablement
  • Make recommendations for improving enablement and sales uptake of materials
  • Deliver on plans and support other teams as needed


What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • 5+ years of sales, sales operations, or sales enablement experience, or working with sales in a product marketing or corporate marketing role
  • 2+ years of experience in the technology industry
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and be flexible by default
  • Ability to take high-level sales strategies and develop structured plans, actions, and initiatives
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities to manage disparate enablement initiatives
  • Ability to build consensus and agreement across multiple groups
  • Experience with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products is a plus
