The Opportunity:

Viz.ai is looking for a Senior Director, Marketing Communications and Brand to operationalize our content strategy and take our brand and communications to new heights. If you’re a marketing communication expert ready to take your B2B career to the next level, this is the role for you. You’ll apply B2B brand and communications best practices to all aspects of our marcomm efforts to ensure they’re efficient, effective, and best-in-class as well as operationalize our end-to-end content strategy to deliver thought leadership, messaging and insights that will resonate and allow us to optimize, scale and grow.

You will:

The Senior Director, Communications and Brand will design, develop, and deliver the Viz.ai brand, content, communications, and events strategies with programs that drive measurable, visible public relations, high ROI prospect and customer engagement across all channels. Reporting to the chief marketing officer, your day-to-day duties revolve around ensuring Viz.ai communication and customer/buyer journeys are aligned to deliver maximum impact and drive growth for the organization, while delighting and educating our customers.

You’ll orchestrate a team of internal content creators and outside vendors to deliver compelling customer/buyer journeys, high-traffic blog content, social media, lead-converting resources, highly attended events, and other creative projects to share the Viz.ai story across the healthcare ecosystem in the United States and EMEA. You'll collaborate cross functionally with performance and product marketing, the commercial team, operations, and the people team to create and amplify a cohesive and compelling Viz.ai story across all internal and external touchpoints and interactions.

Goals include: digital conversions, brand awareness/perception, social media influence, revenue contribution, and empowering the commercial and demand generation teams with high-impact content to drive customers through all stages of the customer life cycle.

We’re looking for an exceptional brand and marketing communication leader who is passionate about developing best practices and scaling marketing teams. If you have a deep understanding of branding, content strategy/optimization, public relations, social media, event marketing, project management, and process optimization across the customer lifecycle, you’ll love this role!

Responsibilities:

  • Create the strategy and processes to scale the output of content, including a robust content calendar
  • Tell the Viz.ai story in a compelling way across all major channels including, demand gen channels, website, PR, and social media, etc.
  • Lead and collaborate with Viz.ai content creators to deliver regular content (e.g., corporate messaging in presentations, press releases, thought leadership, blogs) 
  • Manage team with responsibility for social media efforts and impact (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
  • Manage events/conferences team, including event budgets/timeline
  • Partner with internal teams on creative direction and execution, including coordinating requirements, fulfilling requests, reviewing output and materials through final draft and delivery
  • Manage marketing content project resources, ensuring project pipeline and timelines are prioritized appropriately
  • Manage and create  internal (employee) communications to align with brand and company strategy
  • Establish asset performance tracking for lead magnets and other content
  • Establish a program for continually adjusting content to improve its effectiveness
  • Keep the team up-to-date with the latest trends in content marketing, public relations, and other key content strategies
  • Research and analyze market trends and apply findings to content themes
  • Participate in immersive research to truly understand our market
  • Build the project and team budgets for key brand initiatives
  • Establish cohesive content strategy tied to marketing team goals and objectives
  • Draft weekly and monthly MarComm performance reports for the marketing team and leadership
  • Establish marketing goals for the brand, content, and events team
  • Manage contracts and the delivery of freelance writers, PR team, and consultant engagements.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in business, communications, or equivalent working experience.
  • 8+ years experience in B2B marketing communications and brand management.
  • 5+ years experience in a B2B leadership role encompassing content strategy, brand strategy, and brand management with a thorough knowledge of all aspects of marketing principles and demonstrated success and performance in an early-stage/high-growth company.
  • Proven and visible marketing communication and PR veteran, with experience telling company stories across several disciplines (text, design, video, etc.) and media (blogging, social media, guides, whitepapers, research, press releases, infographics, podcasts, etc.).
  • Leadership experience with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Driven by creative intuition but able to gut check and course-correct with data, as well as report results and optimize using data.
  • Self-motivated with excellent cross-cultural communication skills, as well as excellent writing and copy-editing abilities.
