Sr. Digital Strategist / Strategy

Employment Type: Full-Time, Salary

Job Description: Investis Digital is searching for a self-motivated, curious, results-driven, and detail-oriented individual who consistently seeks to drive client success and measure the efficiency and effectiveness of digital channels. The Sr. Digital Strategist works with subject matter experts, client services, analytics, and other departments to provide an overarching view of how our digital campaigns impact our clients' customer journeys.

Ideally, we're looking for a strategist with an emphasis in all things paid media. Our next team member should have a thorough understanding of media planning, audience segmentations, campaign briefs and cross-channel budgeting.

Responsibilities: We are seeking a candidate that has experience:

  • Working across media teams to build and maintain media plans and campaign briefs
  • Provide recommendations for media budgets
  • Align audiences by stages in the customer journey and work with analysts to visualize multi-channel reporting that is easily digestible for different levels of leadership
  • Provide insights to map creative by channel and audience categories
  • Working alongside a digital marketing team towards a set of business goals
  • Measuring and visualizing digital performance against benchmarks and KPIs
  • Conceptualizing a digital marketing plan based on a client's business goals
  • Establishing, maintaining and evolving marketing initiatives across multiple digital channels
  • Mapping marketing tactics to the customer journey based on user-intent across various industries and business-models
  • Communicating directly with senior level executives to present honest, yet compelling data
  • Navigating Google Analytics and using it as a primary source of data analysis
  • Creating monthly performance reports using Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Using data and research to make informed marketing decisions

You will be directly responsible for:

  • Managing media plans and campaign briefs
  • Making cross-channel budget recommendations
  • Conceptualizing and building media docs and campaign briefs into presentable formats
  • Being the SME within the strategy department on all things paid media
  • Driving competitive audits with the help of subject matter experts
  • Developing strategic initiatives based on audit findings and client goals
  • Thinking about "what's next" for our clients on an on-going basis
  • Monthly overview reporting directly with clients
  • Lead quarterly or biannual business reviews with the help of subject matter experts
  • Facilitating internal client team meetings to develop and maintain cross-channel success
  • Meeting with client service teams to review account status and opportunities
  • Staying up to date with latest trends in digital marketing
  • Create client facing POVs to help educate our clientele and inform next steps on latest trends, algorithm updates, platform updates, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Strategy and Marketing departments to seek innovations for our Connected Content model, as well as assist with aggregated client reports
  • Assist with providing helpful feedback on other Strategy team members' final deliverables



Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a digital marketing service line or similar strategic marketing role
  • We are currently seeking applicants with experience in one or more of the following digital marketing service lines:
  • Paid Media (Search, Social, Programmatic/Display)
  • SEO / Content Development / Content Strategy
  • Lead Nurture (Email Marketing / Conversion Rate Optimization)
  • Know how to navigate and pull insights from Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook Business Manager
  • Proficient in Microsoft Power Point and Excel or Google Sheets
  • Must know how to use advanced filters, tables, graphs, and pivot tables
  • Comfortable using marketing research tools including but not limited to: SEMrush, Ahrefs, or SpyFu
  • An understanding of online drives such as Microsoft SharePoint or Google Drive
  • Exceptional communication skills; both verbal and written



Nice to have: While not required, any experience with the following tools would be beneficial in this role:

  • Google Data Studio (Or any other data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI)
  • Google Search Console
  • Amazon
  • Adbeat
  • Moat
